A helping hand to our local Charity
During these unprecedented times, it is a fair judgement to say that we have all be tried and tested. At a time when the nation could not see one another, we had to pull together to help ensure a safer environment for us all. These times have been difficult for everyone, and we want to help ensure that everyone receives the support that they need.
Room at the Inn – The Y Project are a Warrington-based Charity. They work throughout the week to provide day services and night shelter for those who are homeless in and around Warrington. They are a local charity to us at Indepth, and we wanted to offer our support in form of a donation, to help contribute towards their services. They rely on donations to ensure that they can continue to do what they do, on a daily basis.
At our Head Office, our staff organised a collection of their most-needed items. Our Marketing Team put together a poster that was distributed to all office-based staff, asking them to donate what they could, by way of helping the Charity.
We collected socks, biscuits, hand sanitisers, antibacterial wipes, deodorants, tissues, cereal bars and much more. They were all put into a donation box and we liaised with the Charity to establish a convenient time to deliver our donations. In order to observe social distancing measures, we ensured that we visited the charity at a time that it was closed to the public.
Our Sales and Marketing Manager, Stephanie Davies and our Graduate Marketing Executive, Ellie Benson, made a trip to Room at the Inn with our donations, where they received a certificate of recognition.
We have pinned our certificate up, pride of place on our notice board, at our Head Office – we are thrilled.
We want to say a massive thank you to Room at the Inn for coordinating with us on this donation and we would like to thank our office staff for their continued generosity.
Remember, during these uncertain times, it is important to think of those who may need help.
